Fabrication-Trim B-Shift General Foreman
Job Summary:
Oversee the fabrication floor and all aspects of production from set up to yields, quality, employee safety, food safety, volume, costs, claims, turnover, absenteeism and training of supervisors.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Ensures area is properly staffed to meet operational needs
Meets volume goals, Reduce claims, Maximize yields, Reduce costs
Maintain a good working relationship with Union, USDA, Quality Control and Maintenance employees
Manage the movement of bids, new hire placement, and turnover reduction
Facilitate and/or participate in group meetings
Ensure company policies are being followed
Minimum Requirements:
Speak, Read, Write in English
Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred but not required
5 years of management experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Knowledge of beef cuts and beef production processes a plus
Abilities Required:
Work in a refrigerated, wet and noisy environment with possible slippery floors
Wear required safety equipment
Extended walking, standing and lifting, or carrying 75 pounds or greater
Ability to work 50+ hours a week with some Saturday work

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
