Quality Assurance Technician
Calibrate lab and satellite lab equipment once per shift
Train associates on analytical testing, sensory, torques and IQS data entry
Perform capper capability and red dye tests at least weekly and at every changeover
Test finished product and inbound materials in compliance with Quality standards and documentation requirements
Review production, IQS and quality paperwork to ensure compliance (every shift)
Conduct Sucrose/Fructose receiving duties including inspecting material and auditing documentation for compliance, prior to unloading
Manage lab supply inventory and make recommendations for reorder
Perform sensory on finished product
Conduct bi-hourly line checks i.e. case codes, bottle codes, correct labels and product analytical
Conduct analytical testing of batching water every shift:
Have knowledge of QA manual and corporate quality procedures
Performs and understands reasons for required analytical testing
Understands basic HACCP requirements
Thorough knowledge of GMPs and lab safety requisites
Effectively communicate with team members.
Attention to detail is critical
Troubleshoot and investigate Quality issues; Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Capable of lifting 50 lbs;
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
