Essential Functions:
Must adhere to the following policies:
Employee Safety, Food Safety, and all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
Development to support in other Warehouse Operations departments (Receiving, Inventory, Shipping) Supervises employees through development, assigning duties and examining work to ensure compliance of the organization's policies and procedures, counsels, coaches, records, and disciplines as necessary.
Manages labor hours and reacts quickly and effectively regarding labor needs and cost controls.
Drive to optimize our shopping, warehousing, and inventory management by identifying opportunities and leading improvement projects.
Report and manage Key Performance Indicators for your team.
Drive continuous improvement in these KPIs.
Traces transaction history of items in WMS and Axapta to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock; recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies Reviews daily reports and ensure completion of key tasks and performance goals.
Spot check of shopper pallets to ensure shopper is transacting and shopping accurately, following FIFO, allergen and height placement is being followed.
Ensures pull summaries are being filled out completely and accurately for management review.
Items on Thaw log are being pulled from freezer, transacted accurately, decanted into crates, and labeled appropriately.
Ensure correct par quantities are being pulled for daily usage in production.
Review ASAP log for completion, item issues, possible over-pulls and transactions mistakes.
Performs warehouse inspections, daily roll call, pre job briefing, audits, etc.
Coaching, training, and mentoring of employees on warehouse practices.
Ensures employees are checking (Scanners, Radio, Holster and Batteries) in/out per policy, maintaining Equipment in good working condition.
Maintains safety and cleanliness of warehouse.
Other duties as required and assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be teamwork oriented.
Time management skills Must understand the importance of On Time, In Full.
Able to read and write English.
Additional languages a plus.
A great communicator (verbal and written).
You cannot over communicate.
Ability to detect problems, problem solving and report information to appropriate personnel Organizational skills Knowledgeable in Inventory Control Knowledgeable in WMS Supervisory experience preferred Experience with Axapta preferred Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word Physical Demands:
Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
